Dick Home

Dick is a network/portscanner designed to be highly configurable and easy to use. It relies on a lot of the same technology that went into siege. If you like siege, then you’ll like dick … um, lemme rephrase that.

Dick was written on GNU/Linux and should run on all platforms that support UNIX sockets. It has been successfully tested on recent releases of Solaris and HPUX.

DICK-0.95 Tue Dec 23 11:02:21 EST 2008 Рinitial release. This version is configurable with command line switches and resource files. It switches seemlessly between ICMP and TCP/IP protocols.
